I am a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Inter. My research interests include natural language processing, representation learning and agentic systems.
At Inter Science, I lead the end-to-end lifecycle of large foundation models for financial applications: from data preprocessing and distributed pre-training to fine-tuning and evaluation. I’m also the creator and lead developer of CodeEvolve, an open-source framework that coordinates LLMs to continuously develop, optimize, and maintain critical software.
I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), where I worked on optimization and graph theory, under the supervision of Prof. Gabriel Coutinho. I also hold a B.S. in Computer Science from UFMG, where I worked as an undergraduate researcher in machine learning under the supervision of Prof. Fabricio Murai.
